New Year Blessing for 2026

A New Year Blessing

As we step into a new year, we do not rush ahead.

We pause.

We breathe.

We remember that the Lord Jesus is already with us.

We bless you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

May Christ dwell deeply in your heart through faith.

May you know, not just understand, that you are loved.

May you be rooted and grounded in the love of the Father, held secure in his kindness, and filled with the life of God from the inside out.

(Ephesians 3:14–21)

As you cross from one season into another, may the Lord help you release what belongs to the past without regret or fear.

May your eyes be opened to see that he is doing something new, even now.

May streams of grace begin to flow in places that once felt dry, and may you recognise his hand at work where you least expected it.

(Isaiah 43:18–19)

May you come freely to the Lord, to listen before you act, to receive before you respond, and to delight again in what truly satisfies.

May his word accomplish what he desires in you, and may your life quietly bear fruit among people around you.

(Isaiah 55)

As the people of God were once invited to consecrate themselves, not to make something happen, but to follow the presence of the Lord who was already moving ahead of them, may you also learn to walk attentively with him.

May you take each step with trust, knowing that the wonder belongs to God and the walking belongs to us.

(Joshua 3)

May this year be marked by Withness.

By awareness, not anxiety.

By love, not striving.

By the gentle power of the Holy Spirit at work in and through you.

May you walk with the Lord Jesus.

May you know the love of the Father.

May you be led and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

And may your life become a quiet witness of grace, blessing, and hope wherever you are sent.
