A Withness prayer of presence, peace, and participation in the life of the Son.

Seeing and Hearing His Glory

My eyes have seen the glory of the King across all the earth.

My ears have heard His gentle whisper: You are my beloved child.

I cry, “Our Father in heaven.”

Blessing is received, and blessing is released.

Through weakness, your power is revealed.

Through suffering and struggle, grief and loss you show your holy love.

Through failure and frustration, you remain faithful.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

My faith rests in the holy love of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

I am thankful.

I cry, “Hallowed be your name.”

My heart is alive with your love.

My mouth now speaks blessing, your profoundly powerful, tangible, and transforming blessing.

Those I meet will sense the fragrant aroma of your presence,

for your light removes the darkness, bringing healing, deliverance, and salvation.

I pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

I hunger for more of your goodness and your righteousness.

You nourish my soul with your presence and your person.

You are the source of life, light, and love.

I pray, “Give us today our daily bread.”

As you fill me with your Holy Spirit, teach me to live with mercy and grace toward others in Jesus’ name.

Father, I open my life to your love today.

I confess the wrong of my past and bow in wonder and marvel at your grace,

now deposited deep within my heart.

Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us.

Jesus, you are with me, and you live within me.

Holy Spirit, ignite worship and wonder in my heart as I walk with Jesus.

Cleanse my mind with your truth, and let your thoughts shape my ways.

Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil.

As I gaze upon the beauty of Jesus,

I see another degree of your glory revealed in your holy presence.

Grace removes the shame and guilt from my heart.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

I pray, “Thank you, for you are good and gracious.

I receive the generosity of the wisdom and power of the Cross.

I see Jesus!”

My hands are ready to extend your embrace of love to my neighbour,

and my feet will walk with joy, the joy of the Holy Spirit.

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they are God’s children,

releasing your righteousness on earth with love and truth.

Every step is a step of heaven on earth,

carrying the message of peace that sows widely and deeply,

revealing a harvest of righteousness in Jesus’ name.

The kingdom of God is present, and the kingdom is advancing.

I walk in step with the Holy Spirit,

in the strength of the Father’s love,

to show and speak Jesus.

Each step reveals your presence,

as heaven touches earth through love and truth with your grace and generosity.

In the presence and peace  of Jesus, through the power of Holy Spirit joy and from our Father’s extraordinary love.
